The Clouds Part! [OPEN]

Sitting outside of a local coffee-shop, Akegata would find himself focusing on the sight of the sun breaking through the gentle caress of the clouds. The sight was a thing of beauty. The pale blue, the sharp white, the glorious Xanthous! If the blind gained sight for one moment, the pure beauty of the day would astound them. Yet, this sight was not something that stirred the heart of the Sanguigno Heir. No, it was the cold touch of the gun resting in his palm that made his heart soar. Of course, those passing by would be quite unawares that any threat on their life could occur from the man in the white suit calmly sipping expresso with the single hand resting above the table. Ever-alert eyes search every face for familiar features. Attention to detail was a trait that helped avoid death, and one Akegata had never forsaken.

Shadow was walking by a calm and busy street close to a coffee-shop when he felt a murderous aura coming from a man wearing a white suit. Shadow knew at once that he was no ordinary man and it would get into a hell of a situation if something had happened there. Shadow walked over and sat in an empty seat behind this man who was ready to kill anyone at any minute. Shadow wanted to know who he was and what a man of his caliber was doing in Japan. Shadow kept his presence hidden from him or so he thought.

The scrape of iron upon cement was all that Akegata needed to understand that someone was watching him. The sound originated from the... southeast, which was a simple enough target. Scenarios began to flash in the mind of the Sanguigno, ways to eliminate the threat with the simplest of maneuvers. Finally deciding upon the simplest method of pushing his chair back so that it falls with him in it while firing behind his shoulder, Akegata prepared himself. It was only as his foot rose to push against the table that he forgot the most important fact. No ammo was available in this part of Japan. Cursing the recent economic crisis, Akegata would instead simply rise to his feet and make his way towards the new arrival, his suit gleaming in the bright glare of the sun. As he nears the man, he would push the nose of his sunglasses up from their position lower upon the bridge of his nose. When he reaches the chair directly opposite of the stalker, Akegata would take a seat and stare into the man's eyes before speaking ever-softly.
"Why are you spying, boy?"
While Akegata's knowledge of the language was second to none, the accent obtained from his Italian roots would be evident to a native speaker.

Shadow was surprisingly astonished that this white coated man could even feel his hidden presence. He knew right away that he was in a bad situation and that he couldn't do anything to avoid being attacked because he had run out of ammo not too long ago. Shadow knew nothing of what he had up his sleeve. "Me? I am just another regular passerby"replied Shadow. He wanted to avoid any kind of violence in the middle of a busy street but by the murderous aura that he was emitting, Shadow knew that the white suited man was itching to kill.

Coincidentally, Futa happened to be walking by the coffee-shop when he saw Shadow, his boss, talking with a man he wasn't really familiar with. Futa didn't know what was going on so he hurried up to his boss and greeted him. "Good Morning Boss!" Futa looked at the man wearing the white suit but didn't really feel the murderous intent because he was a fairly new mafioso and was really naive when it comes to these things. "Good Morning Sir!" he greeted the man standing in front of his boss.

Sneering, Akegata would stare at the new arrival through the mirrored glass of his sunglasses. While ignoring the greeting, the Sanguigno would pull a single cigarette from his pocket and slip the thin white cylinder between his lips before pulling out a match that he then struck across the rough grain on the edge of the table at which the two Mafioso sat. As a strange scarlet smoke slipped from between his lips, he would begin to speak.
"Your Mafia affiliations are obvious to one trained to see. The bulge of your gun in it's holster, the fact that this loudmouth just called you boss, and the movement of your eyes when you called yourself a "passerby".
Leaning forward now, the excitement would be obvious in the eyes of the Sanguigno prince were they visable. Instead, the act of leaning forward most likely appeared to be a sign of aggression. Alas, he continued.
"Did you know the movement of one's eyes is a lie detector in and of itself? It's quite interesting, and something you failed. So Mafioso Boss, which Familgia do you belong to? I suggest you speak, or I'll have to just kill you here and now to cover up loose ends."

Shadow was now really intrigued by the man. He was no novice but a real expert as a mafioso. "Your not bad at all" spoke the Vongola and continued "But you fail to notice who you are talking to". Shadows' eyes looked over at his subordinate, Futa, and replied to his earlier greeting "Good Morning Futa, you may go back to the Vongola base now". Shadow turned his eyes towards the white suited man and started at him for a while. "I am the boss of the Vongola Family, and who might you be?" asked Shadow to the white suited man.

Futa had no idea what was going on or who the man with the white suit was, but he listened to what his boss had to say and calmly walked away. On the way back, he couldn't help but think about the man with the white suit. "I think I've seen him somewhere before, but where?" Futa thought to himself. He walked away from the coffee shop and suddenly disappeared.

The Vongola Boss? Could it be? These were the simple thoughts crossing the ever-quick mind of Akegata Sanguigno. Of course, years of training under the most extreme of circumstances allowed for even the faintest hint of expression to remain suppressed. The beatings he got for crying as his pet dog was tortured to death had taught him a valuable lesson. Revealing emotions could get you killed quickly. Detachment was the way of the Mafioso, and detached he had always been.
As his mind returned from it's deep well of memories, Akegata would purse his lips and lean back in his seat while the cigarette dangled precariously from his long, slender fingers. This image would be a familiar one to any enemies that had once crossed paths with the man, as well as a terrifying one. This was, in essence, the pose that occurred upon Akegata's examination of a possible target. Of course, Akegata's examination was nothing more than a preliminary one. The only main thing that stuck out was a simple thought. He's rather young.
Clearing his throat, Akegata would begin to speak in a relaxed tone denoting lack of interest in the man's identity.
"Alban Sanguigno. The last Son of the Sanguigno Familgia. You should recognize the name. The Familgia is affiliated with your own."

Looking at Akegata speaking, Shadow knew right away that he was suppressing his emotions and being as cold-hearted as can be. Shadow was against that and has always told his subordinates to express their views on anything they see fit. A true mafioso should be able to live to their own ambitions and dreams, not to hide their emotions and be a zombie of some sort. "You're Alban Sanguigno, eh?" Shadow spoke, stopped to examine him a bit more and then continued "So you are the heir to the Sanguigno Familgia; You're not bad". Shadow looked to the right, then to the left, and raised his hand and called over the waiter that was sanding at the far corner of the coffee stand and asked for two cups of coffee.

Shadow looked up at him while he walked away and then look at the waiter who was blushing after the gentle touch from the foreigner. Shadow sighed and continued drinking his coffee and thought "Hmmm...He is Interesting". Shadow tends to get hyped up whenever he meets men or women he deem interesting and will always keep watch over them, not to protect them, but because it is entertaining.
