Yet, the sight of blood while in battle drives this man into such a frenzy that sadistic tendencies soon take over. These tendencies are so strong that often his injuries occur due to abandoning proper defense for a chance to land a blow that inflicts as much mutilation as possible. This has earned him the nickname of "Blood-Soaked Raven" in his native land.

Character History

Born under the name Alban, the newborn member of the Sanguigno Familgia was credited as the "Dawn" of a new age. Having always been a lesser family under the Ever-powerful hand of the Vongola, the desire for power was always outside of their reach. So, they began to put all of their hope on the shoulders of this young boy. Days of intense combat instruction and nights of simulated assassination attempts soon honed Alban to a sharp edge. The result? A lack of all emotions evident in other children at the tender age of eight. While this worried the servants tasked with seeing to the needs of the dark-eyed prodigy, his instructors proved unawares. It was only when the boy reached the age of thirteen that he found something in a sense of humour. During a simple training spar, Alban found his mark and forced the heel of his palm into his Instructor's nasal passages. The resulting stream of blood awoke something dark within Sanguigno heir. Instead of pausing in his assault, the beginnings of a maniacal grin began to form upon the smooth face as insults of the darkest tint began to spew from the mouth of Alban. Multiple restraining entities were required to stop the small boy. Soon after, real jobs began to fill the boy's life and his true persona began to become common knowledge within the world of the Mafioso. The exploits of Alban soon gave him the name of "Insanguinata Corvini". The Blood-soaked Raven.
On Alban's sixteenth birthday, he was sent to the island of Japan as a final test. Live in a new land where anyone could be an enemy, and adapt. Taking this command to heart, Alban soon went about changing his name so as to fit in marginally better. Yet, his pride in his Familgia could not allow him to erase the last ties he had. So, Akegata Sanguigno was born.
