The Casino Negotiation
It was the beginning of a new week. The sun shining over the city, the birds chirp early in the morning, and the citizens heading off to work. At the Vongola Headquarters, it was surprisingly quite. Everyone had yet to come from their missions they left off to do during the weekend. Shadow had nothing to do except watch television and sleep when suddenly, the phone rang. Shadow walked over to the phone and saw that it was a phone call from one of Vongola’s information unit. “Hello, This is Shadow speaking” he started when a loud scream came from the other side of the phone, “Aaaaaaaaa!!” Shadow was wide awake now and yelled “Hello?!? What happened?!?” The person at the other end calmed down and started speaking, “The Nanimori Casino is looking for a partner to work with and their monthly income is 1,000 Lira.” The speaker stopped and took a deep breath and continued again, “This might be our change to get a good company with a big profit…” Shadow put the phone back into its holder and ran out the door. Shadow was on his way to the Nanimori Casino.
“Good Morning” Shadow greeted the casino guard. “May I talk to the president?” The guard started laughing, picked Shadow up by the collar and threw him out of the doorway. “Little brats shouldn’t be walking into places they don’t belong!” shouted the guard. Shadow got to his feet and walked away to think of a plan to get in and didn’t want to cause any commotion in the middle of the day. While he stood there waiting, he noticed a tall man getting into the Limo. Shadow didn’t know who he was but he knew he was someone important, so he decided to get a little closer to get a glimpse of his face when he overheard one of his guards calling him president. The Casino President got into the Limo and left the premises. Shadow decided to follow the Limo and talk with the President in private. The Limo came to a stop in front of a hotel where the President got off and walked in. Shadow followed after the president into the hotel but when he walked in, he couldn’t find out where the President was. Shadow decided to sit in the Lounge and expected the President to walk into the Lounge at some point, but that didn’t happen. Shadow had a bad feeling about this, so he decided to go to reception and ask for the room Mr.Sasako, the Casino President, was at. Shadow got into the elevator and pressed on the 15th floor as he was told by the reception lady. It took a while for the elevator to reach the floor but as soon as the door opened, Shadow looked around for the door 15-05. The room wasn’t at the right end of the hallway so he decided to go look at the left end and there is was. A VIP room for those with high status, and when Shadow tried to open the door but it was locked and locked real tight like it was forcefully locked by someone from the inside. I knocked on the door once more and a voice came out, “Wh…Who is it?” the voice asked and Shadow knew right away that something was off so he replied “Umm..this is room service.” Shadow wanted to find out what was up and needed to get a clear idea of the danger that was inside the door. “Oh, I don’t need anything right now” replied Mr.Sasako with his voice trembling. Shadow couldn’t take it anymore and decided to trash the door open and escape with the Casino President only to find out that it was the Japanese branch of the Pesca Familgia that was behind this. “WH..WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?” shouted out Mr. Sasako like his head was about to explode from the tension and pressure on him. Shadow wanted to reply but because the Pesca Family Mafioso’s didn’t recognize him, he kept his mouth shut. “Lookie here, a rat snuck into the lion’s cave” said the man standing behind Mr. Sasako, while the man standing over near the window started laughing. Shadow stood straight, bit his teeth in order not to get so irritated by their looks and laughs, and took out his Box Weapon. “Oh..Looks like you’re involved in the underground world” said one of the men who looked like he had brains of the whole pack.
Shadow opened the box and in his hands were a handgun, and it had the name Vongola X written over it. Shadow looked over at the pack and was kind of surprised to see their jaws hanging down as if they have seen a ghost of some sort. “YOU..YOU’RE THE BOSS OF THE VONGOLA FAMILGIA?!?!” shouted the man who was laughing like a hyena a second ago. Shadow aimed at the one who shouted and pulled the trigger. The man was laying on the ground in the blink of an eye. The rest of the pack freaked out and ran towards Shadow at the same time, but it was no big deal for the boss of the Vongola. All he did was shoot each one down one by one. Soon six people lay on the ground and all it took was the use of six bullets from his handgun. Shadow carried all the bodies and put them onto the bed that was in the room, and cleaned all the blood that lay on the floor. The Casino President was still shocked and his jaws still dropping to the ground. Shadow untied the knots, helped him to his feet and asked, “Are you okay?” Mr. Sasako was scared that he didn’t know what to say, and finally said “Thank you for saving me!” with his voice still shaking after hearing that he is the Vongola Boss. Shadow walked over to the chair that was close to the door, picked it up and placed it in front og where Mr. Sasako stood. He sat on it and said “I came here to talk to you about your casino, Mr. Sasako” stopped to make sure that there was no one in the hallway and continued. “I want to be your partner Mr. Sasako. We the Vongola will take care of any threats that face you and all you have to do is give us a 1,000 Lira monthly.” Shadow glared at his waiting for his reply. Mr. Sasako was really surprised to hear that a 15-year old high school student was the boss of the Vongola Familgia, but he was even more surprised by the way he does things. “Alright, I don’t have any objections” replied Mr. Sasako to Shadow’s proposal. “Let’s talk about it detail once we get back to your office at the casino, shall we?” said Shadow heading out towards the door first with Mr. Sasako following him. They got into the Limo and were off towards the Nanimori Casino. Mr. Sasako got out first with Shadow coming out after. The Guard welcomed him back, and when he saw Shadow behind him, he walked up towards him, picked him up from his collar yet again, and threw him out. The guard walked back towards Mr. Sasako, “Sorry about that President, this little runt is over his head by wanting to talk with you.” Mr. Sasako clenched his fists and punched the guard as hard as he could. “You Idiot! You’re fired!” Mr. Sasako said while the guard lay on the ground. Mr. Sasako walked back outside and helped Shadow to his feet and apologized to him. Mr. Sasako didn’t want to go against the Vongola but more than that, he didn’t want to go against the man who is head of the whole Vongola. They walked into the office and Mr. Sasako got out all the paper works that needed to be signed. Shadow took the pen that was laying the table and signed the papers without even reading them; after all, he was a failure at his academics. After everything was signed and done, Mr. Sasako stood up and shook his hand with Shadow to complete the contract. The Vongola Familgia now get an income of 1,000 Lira per month.
